If you are replacing an existing window fan please check to see that the hole size is appropriate for the model of fan you are considering. Normally this is a diameter between 108 - 118mm and will fit glazing between 4mm to 28mm thick.
If it is a new installation you will need to consult a glazier with the specification and ask about having a new pane of glass made and installed. In both cases you will need to consult a qualified electrician to undertake the electrical connections.
