Centralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) is a ventilation system designed to extract from multiple rooms to a single extract duct. It is an ideal ventilation solution for new and existing homes, providing 2, 3, 4 or 5 room ventilation with low energy consumption and low noise. It is often easier and more efficient than installing multiple single point extract fans..

Typically mounted in a loft or cupboard these units are designed to operate on a low ‘trickle’ speed 24/7/365 and boost for a short period when rooms are in use. This method of continuous ventilation is promoted under Part F Building Regulations and helps prevent the build up of pollutants in the home.
