What sort of Comfo Air Controls do you need?

What type of ComfoAir Controls do you require?

Please note - these controls apply to the Zehnder ComfoAir Q unit ONLY

Total control - anywhere, anytime

The ComfoConnect LAN C Internet interface opens up a huge range of possibilities. Technicians can monitor system maintenance, planning and function via the web portal. And of course this also makes controlling and programming the system convenient for the owner, who can control it either on a PC or – for even more convenience – using the ComfoControl app from a smartphone or tablet while on the move or on the sofa.

Number of speeds

2 = Low / High 3 = Low / Medium / High 4 = Away / Low / Medium / High

7 day programmer:

The unit can be setup to change speed on an hourly basis, this can be set to change each day or setup for weekend/ weekday settings. The programmer can be overridden by manually adjusting the current speed setting, at the next 7 day programmer change the unit will revert back to its automatic setting.

Manual temporary high speed activation setting:

The unit will be placed into a temporary high speed when this is selected. It will run for the defined time and then revert back to its original speed setting. The high speed time can be adjusted.

Overrun timer:

Overrun timer is either pre-set (ComfoControl RFZ wireless controller (655000755)) or can be adjustable to between 0-120min •Delay on timer •Fault/filter indicator •Summer bypass / frost protection indicator •LCD display •Child lock •Fire alarm input to shut down motors

0-10V input:

Four individual 0-10V inputs with separate 12V power outputs. For 24V power a separate power supply is required. The ComfoAir Q can be set to adjust its speed proportional or to specific flow pre-sets based on the sensors signal. The priority of how the unit reacts based on the sensors signal can also be adjusted.

RF:

Radio Frequency battery operated speed controller. The controller must be used in conjunction with the ComfoSense C67 (655010235) or RF upgrade board (400502016) as the master receiver. Multiple controllers can be used for one unit. The distance will vary dependent on obstacles, however typically the limitation is 100m in free field.

240V:

A 240V MUST go through a relay (by others) first, this can then be connected to the volt free contact on the Option Box V2 Lite to increase the ventilation to speed 3. The 240V switch live signal could be from a standard two position switch or linked to double pole light switches to enable the ventilation speed increase when turning on the light. This option can be used in conjunction with the delay on timer or overrun timer. For an example wiring digram, please see the ComfoAir Q or Option Box V2 Lite datasheet.

  1. For use with Option Box V2 Lite (471502143) or Option Box V2
  2. For use with ComfoSense C67 (655010235) or RF upgrade board (400502016)
  3. As standard on all ComfoAir Q units
  4. Fault output for use on BMS systems
